You'll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a valid government-issued photo ID. The document for notarization must be intended for use, filing, or recording in the United States. No special software is required. The session takes place in your web browser.

We use a two-step identity verification process. First, you'll upload a photo of your government-issued ID for credential analysis. Second, you'll answer a series of knowledge-based authentication questions, similar to verifying your identity for a financial transaction.
